WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
CLEAN HANDS SAVE LIVES
Germs are everywhere! Did you know that germs can survive for up to 3 hours on your hands? Did you know that 80% of illness-causing germs are spread by your hands? Did you know that one germ can multiply into more than 8 million germs in one day?? There are between 2 and 10 million bacteria on your fingertips and elbows. These germs can get onto hands and items we touch during daily activities and make you and your family sick.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, hand hygiene for infection prevention is an important part of the U.S. response to the emergence of COVID-19. Cleaning hands at key times with soap and water (when available) or hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is one of the most effective steps you can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to those around you. CDC recommends the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers with greater than 60% ethanol alcohol as the preferred form of hand hygiene.

With sanitizer shortages leading some people to try and make their own hand sanitizers, it’s important to know these might not be as effective as commercially available products.
The CDC recommends using a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol or higher. Sanitizers with lower concentrations of
alcohol are not as effective in killing germs.
